Author Guidelines

 GUIDELINES FOR WRITING THE JOURNAL MANUSCRIPT “MAROSO”

WRITING REQUIREMENTS

  1. Manuscripts must be original work and have not been published before.
  2. The manuscript is written in Indonesian or English, simple, straightforward and easy to understand, short, clear sentences, economical with words and without ambiguity.
  3. In certain cases and without changing the substance, the editors can edit and improve the format of the manuscript.
  4. The article is equipped with an abstract and keywords written in English and Indonesian, maximum 1 page, 1 space (maximum 200 words).
  5. Minimum number of pages is 5 pages and maximum is 12 pages.
  6. Submit manuscript and CD or via e-mail.
  7. The contents of the article are not the responsibility of the editors.

 

WRITING FORMAT

  1. The font used is Times New Roman.
  • The TITLE is written in capital letters, 14 (bold).
  • ABSTRACT is written in regular letters, 10, 1 space and KEYWORDS
  • The CONTENTS of the MANUSCRIPT are written in Times New Roman size 11,1, spacing.
  1. Manuscripts must be typed in Microsoft Word and single-spaced, with each paragraph separated by one space.
  2. The manuscript is written in A4 paper format with a top margin of 2.5 cm and a left margin of 3.5 cm.
  3. The author's name is written without including a title, written in regular letters, 12 (bold).
  4. The main title, author's name and affiliation are written in the center.
  5. The article has 3 levels of headings. First level in all capital letters (bold). The second level is bold and aligned left.
  6. Tables are placed in the center, numbered sequentially and table captions are written above the table in question.
  7. Graphs, images and photos are placed in the center, numbered sequentially and captions are written under the graph, image and photo in question.
  8. Foreign words are in italics.

 

WRITING CONTENT

  1. The TITLE should be short with key words or phrases that reflect the content of the writing.
  2. ABSTRACT contains the research objectives, methods used and results/conclusions, complete with KEYWORDS.
  3. INTRODUCTION contains the background of the problem, research objectives and theoretical basis.
  4. RESEARCH METHODS contain detailed and systematic descriptions of the research methods and procedures carried out, including the materials and equipment used.
  5. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION contain results that are in line with the objectives to be achieved and are accompanied by illustrations in the form of tables, graphs and images (photos).
  6. CONCLUSIONS AND SUGGESTIONS are brief and clear statements regarding the results achieved in accordance with the research objectives.
  7. ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS may be included if deemed necessary.
  8. BIBLIOGRAPHY is arranged alphabetically by the author's name.
  • For reference libraries in the form of books, the elements in sequence are the author's name, book title, place and publication.
  • For reference libraries in the form of journals, the elements in sequence are the author's name, year of publication, article title, name of journal/publication, publication number and page.

 

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, or is under consideration by another journal (or an explanation has not been provided in comments to the editor).
  2. Manuscript files are in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for reference have been provided.
  4. Text is single-spaced; font 12; italic; not underlined (except for URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at appropriate points, not at the end.
  5. Texts that comply with the requirements regarding bibliography and style are outlined in the Author Guidelines, which will be found on the About Us page.
  6. If acceptance for peer-reviewed sections of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring Anonymous Reviewers have been followed.
